Helping owners build calmer, more focused, and more reliable dogs through structured training, clear communication, and owner coaching.
Calm Dogs. Clear Communication. Real-Life Results.
Kelton Crawford is a professional dog trainer based in Airdrie, Alberta and the owner of Kelton’s Doggy Trot.
His training focuses on helping dogs become calmer, more reliable, and easier to live with through practical training methods that owners can continue at home. Rather than creating temporary results, the goal is to build lasting behaviours that work in everyday life.
Kelton has completed over 240 hours of hands-on training through Arsenal Canine Academy and has pursued additional education through Shield K9, gaining experience in obedience training, behaviour modification, reactivity rehabilitation, engagement building, and real-world dog training.
He works with dogs of all ages and experience levels, from puppy foundations and basic obedience to more advanced behavioural challenges such as leash pulling, reactivity, poor impulse control, resource guarding, and aggression.
What sets Kelton’s Doggy Trot apart is the focus on both the dog and the owner. Training is designed not only to improve the dog’s behaviour but also to give owners the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to maintain and build upon that progress long-term.
The goal is simple: help owners create a calmer, more enjoyable relationship with their dog while achieving reliable results that carry over into everyday life.
